How to retrieve a DDD file
The DDD file is the file (format .vu or .esm) that you get with a manual download from the vehicle tachograph using a Tachograph Digital Download key.
Manually retrieve the DDD file on a Continental VDO tachograph
1.Insert the company card 2. Let the Tachograph read the card
3. Open the front connector
4. Insert the Tachograph download key into the tachograph
5. When download is completed, remove the Tachograph download key
6. Close the front connector
7. Insert the USB side of the Tachograph download key in your computer to upload the data
Manually retrieve the DDD file from a Stoneridge tachograph
1. Insert the company card 2. Let the Tachograph read the card
3. Remove the printer drawer
4. Insert the Tachograph download key into the tachograph
5. When download is completed, remove the Tachograph download key and click on the OK button
6. Close up the printer drawer
7. Insert the USB side of the Tachograph download key in your computer to upload the data
