Removing a User & Driver

When a driver leaves, you will want to remove them from the platform. You are not able to completely remove them, however you are able to unlink them from any Key fobs & vehicles and then deactivate them as a driver.

It is suggested to unlink the driver from the fobs & vehicles before they are deactivated, as once they are deactivated, you can not unlink them.

The first thing you will need to do is to delete them as a user if they are set up so they are no longer able to login to the platform.

You can do this on the User settings page.

  1. Click on Settings
  2. Click On Organisations
  3. Click on Users
  1. Search for the user you wish to remove access for
  1. Once they are displayed, click actions and then delete.

Now they are removed as a user, you will need to remove them as a driver. The first step is to unlink them to any vehicles or Key fobs.

  1. Go back into the settings page, and you will automatically be on the driver's page
  2. Search for the driver you wish to edit
  3. Once you have the driver, on the right hand side click "Actions"
  4. To remove the vehicle, click "Edit Vehicle"
  5. Click "Unassociate Vehicle"
  6. Click "Save"

To remove the key fob follow these instructions

  1. On the driver name click "Actions"
  2. Click "Edit Key"
  3. Remove the number in the field
  4. Click "Save"

You are now able to Deactivate the driver.

  1. On the driver name click "Actions"
  2. Click "Deactivate"
  3. Click "Yes"

The Driver is now deactivated and will not show on any future journeys on the system or be able to login to the system
