Configuring audio and visual alerts for events

Updated by Bob Medlin

Alerts are heard and seen from the camera when risky or distracted driving occurs. The audio alert is a beep from the camera and the visual alert is an icon that appears on the camera screen. For risky driving events, an event is triggered and sent to the cloud at the same time as the audio and visual alerts occur. For distracted driving events, a few audio and visual alerts occur to coach the driver before an event is triggered.

You can enable or disable audio and visual alerts for different events in your MICHELIN Connected Fleet Cameras platform. By default, visual alerts are enabled and audio alerts are dependent on whether Enable audio alerts is enabled or disabled in Settings.

Audio and Visual alert settings for Events

  1. Enable audio alerts in individual cameras, multiple cameras, or for your entire organization. For further information see, Configuring your Cameras settings.
  2. Enable and disable individual event audio and visual alerts. For more information see, Event settings.

The following table lists if audio/visual alerts are available with the camera settings described.
